VR Sessions

Watershed, Bristol | June, 2017

VR sessions was Limina’s first venture into VR exhibition; a co-investigation with Watershed (Bristol, UK) into what role cultural cinemas and independent arts venues could play in the presentation of this rapidly evolving medium. Funded by the BFI and Watershed, it consisted of a research report and a micro-season of VR for the public.

We showcased 4 different VR experiences across 4 days in a prototype VR Theatre format. VR pieces we exhibited included Sashka Unseld’s Through You, a collaboration with renowned choreographer Lily Baldwin and Jane Gauntlett’s Dancing with Myself, for which we transformed the VR theatre space into a restaurant.
